§ 01

Acceptance of Terms

In Plain English

By using our site or signing up your kid for camp, you're agreeing to these rules. If you don't agree, please don't sign up.

Welcome to Ascend Golf Camp. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Ascend Golf Camp ("Ascend," "we," "us," or "our") and govern your access to and use of the website at ascendgolfcamp.com (the "Site") as well as your enrollment in any Ascend Golf Camp session (the "Camp").

By visiting the Site, submitting a reservation, or otherwise interacting with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or register a camper.

§ 03

About Ascend

Ascend Golf Camp is a private summer junior golf camp based in San Diego, California, operated by three college students. Each Camp is a three-day program running Wednesday through Friday during the summer months (late May through mid August). The exact venue for each Camp will be announced ahead of time. The Camp is designed for golfers age 18 and under of all skill levels — from first-timers to experienced junior players.

§ 04

Eligibility

In Plain English

A parent or guardian (18+) signs up. Campers must be age 18 or younger.

To register a Camper, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be the parent or legal guardian of the Camper, or have written authorization from one
  • Have the legal authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of the Camper

Campers must be age 18 or younger at the time the session begins. By submitting a Reservation, you confirm that the Camper meets this age requirement. Ascend reserves the right to refuse or cancel any Reservation for a Camper who does not meet eligibility requirements.

§ 05

Registration & Reservations

5.1 How to Register

Reservations are made through the form on the Site. You'll be asked to provide parent and Camper information including names, email, phone, Camper age, skill level, preferred week, and payment selection. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and to update us if anything changes before the session begins.

5.2 Spot Confirmation

Submitting the form is a request to reserve a spot, not a guaranteed Reservation. We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm availability. A Camper's place in a session is considered confirmed only after we have communicated directly with you to confirm the dates and you have completed (or arranged) the required payment as described in Section 6.

5.3 Capacity & Waitlist

We maintain a small camper-to-coach ratio to deliver quality instruction, which means each session has limited spots. If your preferred week is full, we will offer alternative weeks or place you on a waitlist if you wish. Waitlist placements are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

§ 06

Payment Terms

6.1 Tuition

The price for one three-day session at Ascend Golf Camp is $799.99 per Camper. This is an all-inclusive price covering on-course play, daily golf instruction, lunch, snacks, and small-group coaching at the camp's stated camper-to-coach ratio. All amounts are quoted in U.S. Dollars.

6.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment in two ways:

  • Pay Online. A secure online payment made at the time of registration to fully reserve the spot.
  • Pay at Drop-Off. Payment in person on the first day of camp. We may require a small non-refundable deposit in advance to hold the spot when this option is selected.

6.3 Late or Failed Payment

If payment is not received by the first day of the session (or as otherwise agreed in writing), we reserve the right to release the Camper's spot to another family on the waitlist without further notice.

6.4 Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable sales, use, or similar taxes that may apply to your Reservation. If we are required by law to collect such taxes, they will be added to your total at checkout.

§ 07

Cancellation & Refund Policy

In Plain English

Full refund if you cancel up to one week before camp starts. Inside that week, no refund — but we may be able to move you to another session.

7.1 Cancellations by You

We understand that plans change. The following refund schedule applies if you need to cancel a Reservation:

  • 7 or more days before the session start date: full refund of all amounts paid.
  • Fewer than 7 days before the session start date: no refund. At our discretion, we may be able to transfer your Reservation to another available session in the same summer.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email to info@ascendgolfcamp.com and are effective on the date we receive them. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

7.2 Cancellations by Ascend

If we have to cancel a session due to weather, low enrollment, instructor illness, facility issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will offer you a full refund of amounts paid for that session or the option to transfer to another available session. Beyond this remedy, Ascend will not be liable for any other costs you may have incurred (such as travel or lodging).

7.3 Missed Days

Refunds and credits are not given for days a Camper does not attend due to illness, injury, family conflicts, or any other reason on the Camper's side once the session has begun.

§ 08

Camper Code of Conduct

We expect every Camper to treat instructors, fellow Campers, course staff, and the facility with respect at all times. By enrolling a Camper, you agree on their behalf that they will:

  • Follow all instructions from Ascend coaches and course staff at all times
  • Treat other Campers with respect and refrain from bullying, harassment, or any unsafe behavior
  • Treat the course, equipment, and surroundings with care
  • Stay with their group during camp hours and not leave the premises without authorization
  • Refrain from possessing or using alcohol, drugs, tobacco, vaping products, or weapons of any kind
  • Dress appropriately for golf and follow any dress code communicated for the venue

Ascend reserves the right to remove a Camper from a session, without refund, for serious or repeated violations of this Code of Conduct or for any behavior that creates a safety risk to themselves or others. In such cases, you are responsible for arranging the Camper's transportation home.

§ 09

Health & Safety

9.1 Medical Information

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about any allergies, medical conditions, medications, dietary restrictions, or physical limitations that may affect the Camper's participation. This information should be shared at registration or by emailing us before the session begins so we can plan accordingly.

9.2 Emergency Care

By enrolling a Camper, you authorize Ascend staff to seek emergency medical care for the Camper if needed and to share basic medical information with first responders or healthcare providers. Every reasonable effort will be made to contact you immediately in such an event. You are responsible for any costs associated with emergency medical care provided to the Camper.

9.3 Assumption of Risk

Golf, like any sport, involves a degree of inherent risk, including but not limited to physical injury from swinging a club, being struck by a ball, falls, exposure to sun and weather, and contact with course terrain. By enrolling a Camper, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks on behalf of yourself and the Camper.

9.4 Liability Waiver

A separate written liability waiver and acknowledgment of risk may be required to be signed before the first day of camp. Failure to provide a signed waiver may result in the Camper being unable to participate, with no refund.

§ 10

Photo & Media Release

From time to time, Ascend may take photographs or short videos during camp for our records, our website, or our social media. By enrolling a Camper, you grant Ascend a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual right to use these images for promotional or educational purposes without compensation.

If you do not want your Camper photographed or featured in any media, please let us know in writing at registration or by emailing info@ascendgolfcamp.com before the session begins, and we will respect that request.

§ 11

Use of the Website

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the Site. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to interfere with the operation, security, or performance of the Site
  • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its underlying systems
  • Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect content from the Site without our permission
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site
  • Use the Site for any commercial purpose without our written permission

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice and will not be liable to you for doing so.

§ 12

Intellectual Property

All content on ascendgolfcamp.com — including the Ascend name, logo, brand marks, photographs, written copy, design elements, and the overall look and feel of the Site — is the property of Ascend Golf Camp or used with permission, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, or otherwise exploit any part of the Site for commercial purposes without our prior written permission. Personal, non-commercial viewing of the Site is welcome.

§ 13

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and the Camp are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work hard to deliver a great experience and accurate information, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Site, the information, content, or materials included on the Site, or the outcomes that may result from attending the Camp.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

§ 14

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, in no event will Ascend Golf Camp, its operators, instructors, employees, agents, or affiliates be liable to you or any third party for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses — arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your enrollment in the Camp, or your participation in any Camp activity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event will our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms, the Site, or the Camp exceed the total amount you actually paid us for the specific session giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

§ 15

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ascend Golf Camp, its operators, instructors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, debts, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your or the Camper's use of the Site or participation in the Camp
  • Your violation of any term of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right
  • Any conduct by the Camper at the Camp that causes injury or damage
§ 16

Dispute Resolution

16.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at info@ascendgolfcamp.com. We will try in good faith to resolve any concerns within 30 days of receiving your notice.

16.2 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Camp will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

16.3 Venue

Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Camp that is not resolved informally must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to venue.

§ 17

General Provisions

17.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other written agreements we ask you to sign (such as a liability waiver), constitute the entire agreement between you and Ascend regarding your use of the Site and your enrollment in the Camp, and supersede any prior agreements between us on the same subject.

17.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

17.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of any provision will be effective only if in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Ascend.

17.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business.

17.5 Force Majeure

We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms where the failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather, fire, natural disasters, pandemics, government action, or other emergencies.

17.6 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify families by email or by prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site or enrollment in a session after the changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
