Chapter IV · The Instructors

Meet the Instructors.

The three players running the camp this summer.

Instructor

Owen Field

Texas Christian University

Golf has been a huge part of my life since I was a kid. Long days on the range, junior tournaments most weekends, and a love for the game that hasn't faded.

Now studying at TCU, I love sharing what I've learned with kids of every level, whether they're picking up a club for the first time or already playing every weekend.

Andres Cervera on the course
Instructor

Andres Cervera

University of Chicago

Golf is as much a thinking game as a physical one, and that's what pulled me in. At U Chicago I love breaking down the game in a way that makes sense for any player, no matter their experience.

Whether a kid is here to compete or just to enjoy a few days outside, I want them to leave loving the game a little more than when they arrived.

William Mirhashemi on the course
Instructor

William Mirhashemi

Northwestern University

I play on the Northwestern golf team, and competing at the collegiate level keeps me sharp every single day. There's no shortcut. It's reps, focus, and showing up.

Teaching young golfers is something I genuinely look forward to. Watching a swing click, or a kid finally trust their putt, that's the best part of the day.
