Chapter III · A Day at Ascend

From sunrise warmups to
course play and closing challenges.

Here's exactly how each day unfolds — structured enough to make real progress, relaxed enough that kids actually enjoy it.

8:30 AM
Roll In & Gear Up
Show up, meet your coach, grab a water. We'll get you set up before heading out to the range.
9:00 AM
Warm Up & Wake Up
Quick stretch, then straight to the range. A few easy swings to get loose before we really get into it.
9:30 AM
Full Swing on Trackman
Small-group work on driver and irons. Trackman runs in the background so you can see exactly what your swing is doing and where to tighten it up.
11:00 AM
Short Game Showdown
Chipping, pitching, and putting stations. This is where scores actually drop, and the stuff most kids never get real reps on.
12:00 PM
Lunch & Hang
Fresh lunch, shade, and time to hang out. Coaches break down the morning while the kids eat.
1:00 PM
Range & Course Time
Thu · Range Fri · 9 Holes
Wednesday we work between the simulator, range, and short-game area at the facility. Thursday we hit the range for a focused session, and Friday we play a real 9-hole round on a course to put the week together.
2:30 PM
Daily Challenge
Long drive, closest to the pin, putting showdown. Whoever wins walks home with a prize.
3:00 PM
Wrap & High Fives
Friday · Awards Ceremony
Quick feedback from your coach, a plan for tomorrow, and you're done for the day. Friday at 3 we end with an awards ceremony for the week's challenge winners.

I grew up in San Diego and played at Torrey Pines High School, where I earned Rolex All-American honors four times and finished 2020 as the #2 ranked junior golfer in California. I represented the U.S. at the Junior Open at St. Andrews and qualified for the 2021 U.S. Amateur...

I play with the Northwestern golf team, and competing at the collegiate level keeps me sharp every single day. There's no shortcut. It's reps, focus, and showing up. Before Northwestern I put in the hours through junior tournaments and high school varsity, building the foundation that got me here and the habits that keep me improving...
